    The town on the Nepalese side is Kodari while that on the Tibetan side is Kassa / Zhangmu. If you cross the line from Nepal, you would have to put your watch

    I think the white maker is not a border marker, but just announcing the distance to the Nepali city of Butwal, a little further in from the border of Nepal and
