1. Egypt/Jordan maritime border?
    Does anyone know whether Jordan and Egypt abut in the Red Sea? This would require the triangle of Israeli sea to fall short at its apex of the equidistance

    ... I d say yes. The Gulf of Aqaba is 16 km wide along the Jordan-Saudi line, and the southernmost point of Israel on land is 15 km from that line. The

    ... So would I, now. I ve just dug out a better map, and it s difficult to see how a line of equidistance between Israel and Egypt could feasibly skew far

    ... happens I think we are in a position to at least sketch out the *topology* of the situation, without being able to nail down the exact position of many EEZ
