I look forward to seeing what your eyes saw!  I think that I will ask Lyle to pass on the border marker to me if he's just going to let it sit there...  I wonder what the FedEx charge would be?
 
Or perhaps we could bring it with us on the GBBE -- and claim Kalingrad for Canada and the US!

Yes...great photos Doug.  Mine will be up after the 26th.  I still can not believe how far that "Welcome to Vermont" sign was inside Quebec - somewhat ridiculous.  I also hope Lyle gets that bordermarker up and does something nice with it (garden sculpture?) - although that might lead to some great confusion!

Doug, thanks for clearing up that 25 year old mystery for me.  I knew the river had no direct bearing with the boundary, but had always (erroneously) suspected that the line bisected the bridge.  Nice job on the map by the way!
