Wales and England border question

I got my few slides back of the N-S Korea border area--the few I could sneak when military guards and tour guides weren't looking! I'll try to post them soon if I can find them.

Also, I'll be traveling to England/Wales in a few weeks and am wondering if anyone knows about the border demarcation between these two (shall I say) countries. It seems like I saw some old topos (don't remember scale), which showed some border markers on the ground, but a look at some more recent topos (1986) doesn't show any markers. I was also in the UK a couple of years ago and asked my colleague to stop at the English-Welsh border so I could look around, but there were no border markers that I could see--only a welcome to Wales sign (in Welsh and English), which as Peter always points out, was probably not too close to the actual line.

Any information on this would be appreciated, as I will have a car available and will possibly do some bordering around.
