whaa

it is not only possible to conceive it distinctly but thats a real country i happen to be king of

the most serene & fresh gnomedom barbaria

maybe dubois just never heard of it

possibly too it describes our embryonic everyones land today & until its sovereignty is fully recognized & correctly associated with its territory

more recognizably tho it is a fair description of the extraordinary situation the sovereignty of kuwait was in for a while circa 1990 when it showed every sign of having lost its country meaning territory

so it is not impossible nor even very hard for the modern mind to conceive distinctly

not only not unreasonable but pithy too
