the growing likelihood that we live in a world of as many as 4 boundary
crosses aka binational quadripoints rather than only the 2 we have been
acknowledging with confidence til so recently has prompted me to focus
again even if still a bit prematurely on our whole phenomenal collection of
world class boundary crosses

for each of the 4 appears to be of unique type

the baarle or belgodutch cross is perhaps most marvelous because it is
associated with & evidently even sustains the worlds only twin clavicle or
siamese twin clave

the jungholz or austrogerman cross is in its turn perhaps most marvelous
because it is the only peak point of the 4 & also because it is believed to
mark the only nonintersection & thus to be uniquely not a cross at all even
tho it is purportedly monumented by a vertical cross

the probable bengal or banglaindian pair of crosses are believed from
recollection to comprise a drypoint survey line intersection on the one
hand & on the other a unique wetpoint intersection of a survey line &
thalweg
but the 2 are believed to be alike in that they both appear to link
exclavicles with the bangla desh metro area

& tho the similar clave fame of bengal & baarle may serve to link their
respective boundary crosses in peoples minds nevertheless the probable
bengal crosses actually appear to have much more in common with the
jungholz cross in connecting exclavicles directly to a metro motherland
than they have with the baarle cross which does not make such a connection
for its exclavicles but only connects them to each other

& if the probable bengal boundary crosses do both pan out then they will
perhaps be most marvelous precisely for being plural & also for giving
metro bangla desh the only matching pair of semiattached exclavicles in the
world even while metro austria tho much more famous for producing the great
jungholz has only its single exclavicle wonder

but stay tuned because that is just how it seems today & anything can still
happen
