I'd like to add my voice to Martin's: the repeated whanging around of
large numbers of bytes offends my parsimonious Scottish Presbyterian
soul. (Although I do forgive Michael the extra few bytes [those extra
spaces and carriage returns, m!] it takes him to send his "minimal"
text.)
Very soon after I joined this group I clicked the "I'll visit the
website" option to avoid the regular dull clunk of vast quantities of
text in my mailbox.
Maybe Yahoo bears some of the blame, since it offers up the entire
text of the previous message when you click the "Reply" button. But
really, how long does it take to highlight and delete unneeded text
(as I've just done with Martin's previous message)?
