Mike: See my comments below regarding dry/wet status of NJ triples,
and further below regarding triviality.
Also, I count 28 tri-county points shared with NY, DE, or PA, which
includes the NJ-NY-PA and NJ-DE-PA points. Of those, only the
Sussex(NJ)-Pike(PA)-Orange(NY)[tri-state point],
Passaic-Sussex-Orange(NY) and Passaic-Orange(NY)-Rockland(NY) points
are definitely dry. Bergen-Passaic-Rockland(NY) appears to be wet, but
a near miss, and Hudson-Union-Richmond(NY) appears to be dry, but is
very close to being wet. Considering New Jersey is essentially a
peninsula, solidly connected to the "mainland" only along the northern
border with New York, all this "wetness" is not surprising.
