got about halfway from gila bend to yuma last night
or as far as dateland in fact
tho i didnt land a date
& slept fitfully besides
on my plan of continuing down to yuma & torching the veggies
surrounding the azbcca binational tristate point
aka mxn
aka mxusn
in order to expose the actual tripoint position to broad
daylight & normal visitation at last
but i have backed off from this second yuma & border burning try this
morning
& have returned here to gila bend
realizing i will stay just as warm & be far more
secure if i just go down to ajo for the xmus cold snap
rather than risking it all by going all the way to mxus
in yuma
especially as i want to remain in top form for the 2005 inaugural
tour now only 8 nights away
for that is of course a much higher priority
& just to keep the megapointing going too
since that is what i did set out to do & is thus also a higher
priority than mxn
i have looked at several & selected one of the texas
quadricounty probabilities in particular
for a final multipointing & megapointing try of the old
year
namely bodahoma
or the borden dawson howard martin quadricounty
since it looks so balanced with all 4 counties having 6 letter
names
& also since it is only a couple hundred yards from a road &
likely in open oilfields
so these in sum are the dates i actually have landed while at
dateland
