My attachment that eluded you was nothing more than 20 KB snipped out of the<br/>
wonderful 1.6 MB panorama at<br/>

on the end of the north (left) arm of the colonnade.  If you will look carefully<br/>
there, you should see that the propylaeum seems to lack the light-colored steps<br/>
that are present along the adjacent narrower colonnade.  Of course, this<br/>
interior propylaeum does not necessarily prove the condition of the<br/>
corresponding exterior propylaeum, but perhaps the pavement at the level of the<br/>
square goes all the way through to Italy (wherever that is).<br/>
