<div id="ygrps-yiv-1917673550">Dadra and Nagar Haveli is a separate Union Territory. <br/>
The two areas used to be identified as the inland<br/>
enclaves of Daman in old publications.  There is the<br/>
enclave of Mechval, now belonging to Gujarat in Nagar<br/>
Haveli.  Bombay was broken into the parts of Gujarat<br/>
and Maharashtra.  Dadra and Nagar Haveli were<br/>
liberated at different time than Daman.  This maybe<br/>
one of the reason why they are a different union<br/>
territory, but I am not sure.<br/>
