yet not really
for you dont actually have to go there for it to count

you only have to try

& not just that

if you throw in a gthnsv try while in the neighborhood
& btw thats none other than el trifinio montecristo for your kicker
well that means personal global supremacy for you doug
with a new worlds record score of 26
in the tricountry points tried game

even just a lunge in the right general direction with a straight face
might count as a legitimate class e try

community

good
there are actually 2 known markers there

the formerly but wrongly presumptive one
known as vertice aguas turbias
is maybe 100 meters due west of the new one
& is actually just the first marker on gtmx

& the newly presumptive one due east of the old one
which has already been acknowledged by all 3 countries
but awaits long overdue ratifications in a difficult process
gives guatemala the extra sliver all agree she deserves

neither one has ever been the legal tripoint tho

so if or when in doubt
i was going to say this is another case of
1 plus 1 equals 1
but i think it is rather more like
0 plus 0 equals 1
under the circumstances
yet the same basic idea of covering both bets

there may even be a path thru the jungle connecting them
but that is only my guess

haha
yet really all it would take is one seriously committed lunatic with
a little free time & money on his hands

reminds me of the summer gregg & i separately racked up
several dozens of tristate points each

in fact it was more like a single month
& he was on a bike

or say someone like grants friend ginge who was last heard
from while earnestly trying to touch all the national highpoints of
africa

etc etc

& wouldnt it be worth inspiring someone else to emulate you
& to further inspire you

man if i were you i would start a riot

in fact i would start one anyway
