Hi Peter S.,
good questions: the actual boundary line is in fact
the dotted line that runs in a straight direction
thru the lake "Södra Boksjön" touching - from
S to N "Kulleholmen", another unnamed small
island, then up to "Tågholmsröset" and continues
thru the small inlet "Bodalsviken"...
yeah, would be fun finding out if the actual border
markers are in the middle - I doubt that, since
the map indicates that Norway in fact possesses
the larger part of "Kulleholmen"...BUT: we'll
find out next year, wanna participate in our
little weekend trip...!?!
Anyway, see you in Baarle, hopefully!!!
Friday Sept. 14 at "Hotel "Den Singel"...!
All the best
Peter H.

Peter H.,

Can you tell me which dashed line the international boundary actually
is? The straight one that is really dashed, or the dotted line running
from one island to another (meeting one on the way, too, if I'm not
mistaking) and further to the north through this narrow lake inlet?

In that last case, it is most peculiar that those islands are
apparently used as turning points (=boundary markers!) for the
boundary. I wonder whether the actual marker, if there is one, is
placed in the geographical centre of each island, or some other rule
is applied.

Most interesting, in either case (dashed or dotted)!

Peter S.
