notice on the first map the little triangular area that is apparently
claimed by neither the united states nor canada
yet is within 12 nautical miles of the coasts of both countries

this situation may be the only one of its kind in the world
tho we have also recently seen an example of an unclaimed dry
spot along the disputed inpk boundary
