spectacular & inspirational
took a few days to find a computer that could beam it up
but well worth the wait & the descent from cream hill
then stumbled on a whole hour of it on tv
looks like just another gorgeous dream too
at least in our lifetime
but it might be interesting to live long enough to see whether the
bering strait gets bridged before the polar ice cap melts down
or before drugs are legalized
so the darien gap on the panamerican highway can get filled
or before hell freezes over etc
& assuming 55 mile bridges
then why not include places like japan & even australia etc too
in the global road network
done deal
still wouldnt you think tunneling more likely than bridging
for all the longest gaps
