Well it wasn't my intent to start this debate all over again with some
throwaway remarks that were intended to be mildly humorous. This group
should indeed about boundary points, but many of us are also interested in
the things associated with them. I would happily move such things to a
geopolitical group related to borders and boundary points, but
unfortunately I haven't found one yet.

I've noticed that many of the discussions start with boundary points, but
move onto geopolitical issues because people are interested to know the
history and politics behind them. This group is the most informative I've
found with respect to geographical curiosities, even if it does
occasionally divert from its charter. This said, it was never my intention
to distract from the main topic of multipointing.
