Hi,

here comes another 4point,
the first scan shows the fragment of Roggenburg, belonging to Basel-Land.
its separated from Basel-Land by the fragment Kleinlützel, that belongs to Solothurn, and the kanton Jura.
the second scan shows the 4point, where Roggenburg touches the rest of Basel-Land.

regards, chris

Gee guys, that quadripoint has been in my website for
the last six months, so you guys should check out the
tiny updates.  I probably should have advertised it,
but I was still looking for more proofs.  The origin
is from the dismemberment of Bern, but the books I
read does not explicitly signify that there is an
existence of a true three-canton quadripoint there.
Chris, do you have any other proofs besides the
topographic maps?  I would really like to have them if
they exist.  It could possibly be a very, very close
call.
If you are looking for more crazy things in
Switzerland, check out what looks like a border
between Bern and Vaud, but possibly isn't.  It's kinda
cool, too.  I haven't advertised this curiosity either
without any sort of real proof.
Arif
