do you perhaps mean that the eezs projected from these island groups <br/>
reach the eezs projected from their metro areas on the european <br/>
mainland<br/>
& thus make them technically contiguous<br/>

if so thats unlike alaska & hawaii<br/>

or do you really only mean these island groups are fully integrated <br/>
political divisions of their countries <br/>
like alaska & hawaii<br/>
rather than contiguous in any sense</div>
