well that is maxi gratifying to see them so numerous
multi thanx
settling these must have required a lot of search & enjoy

it even provoked me to ask myself whether it might matter if the
legal definition of the tripoint is on the thalweg or the median
junction
since of the 9 here above there are bound to be some cases of
both types
so it probably isnt too idle a question to ask
even if it may be too punctilious for your requirements
or could deplete the inventory somewhat

or would it matter to you if it turned out that the river bed & even
the water surface are slightly depressed along thalwegs tho not
along median lines

blooops
but i am glad i asked because you seem to me to have put your
finger on at least 2 real ones here below
even if you arent so keen on them yourself

the montecristo tripoint is defined in the tripartite treaty as the
cerro or summit
per ibs no 82
which also gives altitude & coords to hundredths of a sec
of this evidently monumented point
admittedly a whole square foot of surface area to get lost in
but still admirably tight from this great distance
or do you have better info

ditto for the roraima tripoint tho not quite so emphatically
literally at the summit per ibs no 21
which gives altitude but confusing coords

& as for kutjen uul
since i would love to find a third example
i couldnt access ibs nos 64 & 173 in pdf
but perhaps you can
& maybe they could settle this as well for both of us

or perhaps you have already seen these
or better info

i may have seen a brgyve pic that confirms your impression of it
as being below the summit
ibs to the contrary notwithstanding
but i cant recall or find it now
