multi thanxxx dear naanu

& this explains also the amazing patchwork quilt you guys have
achieved there
certainly among the grandest of such creations on the planet

that was my guess too based on the qa & sa maps i have seen
but how much the better to have it confirmed by your account

i think for trypointing purposes it is always a question of what is
the best available truth
& i would say the probabilities espoused by disputants are
normally of equal validity

so fully bagging a disputed tripoint means visiting both locations
or all probable locations in the event of a multiple dispute
such as could well be the case here

quite a mess
except there is the saving grace that
all other things being equal
the de facto situation is more valid than any other probability
naturally

& in this case since the saudi border controls evidently reflect the
truest available aesa & the truest available qasa in this sense
then i believe the truest available aeqasa is not on dry land at all
but a few miles out to sea

& the challenge of deriving the most plausible location for this
tripoint from the best available data may be even greater than
that of reaching its location
even if you were to swim for it

but if as i surmise
the de facto situation reflects purely the saudi reality
rather than the qatari &or uaei realities
the resultant best available tripoint may even be shown on saudi
sailing charts
so it might easily be plotted & visited with gps on your next
pleasure cruise

yes consider it confirmed
