Well that's a little unreasonable, don't you think? I mean there's
real criminals, fine, don't let them in. But then the rest is either
minor stuff (breaking a window in this guy's case) or just totally
stupid stuff (getting in trouble for something that everybody does
and most get away). And finally, most of you may not have a criminal
record, but those of you who have never done anything at least
minorly criminal, throw a rock at me... It's just luck whether you
get caught or not. Just staying in the confines of border violations,
I know I have stepped over borders illegaly many times (and so have
most of us here) and taken pictures of Russian border (up to 10 years
by Russian law). I wasn't really trying to harm any of those states
by violating their borders, just a borderfreak's fun, but officialy
that's crime, and not minor, so if I would've got caught, would it
make sense to make me a dangerous persona non grata in US? I say no.
And then there are also the differences between what US and what
other states consider criminal offence
