<div id="ygrps-yiv-465463630">I recently took the trip east into the desert and I<br/>
have these wonderful photos of the CABCAZ & BCAZSN<br/>
tripoints along the USMX border near Yuma, AZ. Nearly<br/>
a quadripoint, these 2 tripoints are separated by<br/>
20+/- miles. The Colorado River forms the<br/>
international border for that stretch between AZ and<br/>
BC.<br/>

Commonly in photographing USMX, I find easier access<br/>
from the MX side. The militarization on the US side of<br/>
the border can be a problem depending on the Border<br/>
Patrol agent that stops you. I got lucky and got a<br/>
cool one, in fact he drove me back to my car and got<br/>
some good conversation from him. Interestingly, I was<br/>
the only &#39;tourist&#39; that he has ever come across<br/>
looking for a photo of the CAAZBC tripoint. Hmmmm...<br/>
<br/>
Photographing boundary markers in urban areas can ONLY<br/>
be done on the MX side since the wall is built behind<br/>
the markers and are not accessible from the US side.<br/>
<br/>
The reeds in the Colorado River are quite high and<br/>
block good clear views of the river. <br/>
<br/>
Photo 1: <br/>
CA/AZ/BC from the MX side, from Algodones, BC, showing<br/>
the wall and a tower used by the Bureau of Land<br/>
Management (BLM), a US Federal agency for some kind of<br/>
wildlife conservation or something (according to the<br/>
border patrol officer). Yes, it connects US territory<br/>
with MX territory. Reeds are in the way so the photo<br/>
was taken in BC looking north into CA.<br/>

Photo 2:<br/>
Mentally stitch this with the last one and you get the<br/>
wall ending and across the river is AZ, therefore, the<br/>
tp is somewhere in that murky disgusting water. The<br/>
BLM tower is located in AZ.<br/>

Photo 3:<br/>
SN/BC/AZ from San Luis, SN looking north. You can see<br/>
the &#39;wall&#39; on the extreme right side of the photo<br/>
separating SN from AZ. The Colorado River is in the<br/>
back (not the canal) and on the right side is BC. The<br/>
tp is somewhere out in that water.<br/>
