of future changes... :-)

Your plans sound very interesting - visiting all these

phantastic European enclaves in August - I think

all of us are looking forward to a report and some

pictures...

Tim, I wouldn't worry about GIB - taking the detour

this year - GIB will remain under British rule for at

least a couple of years yet - after that there might

be a kind of British-Spanish "condo" - which seems

reasonable, but things do not change that fast ...

GIB, however, is worth a visit at any time - I've been

there myself twice - the combination of Southern

European ambiente and typical British atmosphere

is fascinating...

those of you with more insight than myself please let me know if
during my european vacation this summer i should go out of my way to
visit gibraltar before it's too late. i hope to visit baarle,
campione d'italia, and perhaps busingen in august. if many of you
think that gibraltar could be changing status i could perhaps take a
very quick out of the way trip down from zurich. i'm sorry that i
couldn't have visited hong kong before the handover, i sure don't
want to miss out again!
