Congratulations, Eef. I hope i will have more informations soon.

About the word “condominium Spain/France” i think is not the best word,
at least for the spanish side: the spanish government never had any
right over Andorra: since 1276 the rights over andorra were owned by
the Foix county ( and after, by the french republic ) and the bishop of
Urgell. So, it’s curious that there are two “coprínceps”: a priest and
a president of a republican country. We could sepak of “condominium”
just in geopolitical terms: Andorra has survived as a independent
contry because his position between two strong countries.

More about Andorra: i’ve found a 1:50.000 map of the border based on
the spanish army cartography, but i can’t open it. I think it’s
necessary to have a specific program like ARC/INFO, Arc View, Arc
Explorer, ERDAS, Mapinfo, INTERGRAPH ... Could anyone open it and post
it as a GIF, BMP, JPG…?

The map is at :

technical information about the map:

Thanks,
Marcel
