The Plancius Foundation organized many trips with the mv Plancius to
Svalbard archipelago.

I have a copy of their 1984 brochure. That year was their 4th season. In
that season they organized four different trips.
Also in 1984 Louwrens Hacquebord travelled with Plancius to Jan Mayen.
I think that Plancius also was used during the 1979 and 1980 Spitsbergen
Expeditie.

To read more about Plancius I recommend this book:
In het kielzog van Willem Barentsz. Met het expeditieschip "Plancius" naar
het hoge noorden.
A.J. Veldkamp, ADZ Vlissingen 1996.
Albert Veldkamp was captain of Plancius and also a crew-member of the whaler
Willem Barendsz I and II.
