you may be right about the iron gate
as i dont actually know where it is in relation to the arches in the street

& btw would like to know if you can say how you do know this

but in any case
why does the official vatican map

show the vatican portion of the passetto
aka point of interest number 26
prorupting far to the east

indeed completely across the street & then some
if it is anywhere near to scale
