Yes, this BYPL shoe incident was indeed what I was
alluding to with the 4th message (13893) in the of the
4's thread. I was going to make a try for 16:04:04,
but my computer loses time and when I clicked on the
sychronize button on the atomic clock sync utility I
have, I found it skipped ahead to already past
16:04:04. But an unintended added bonus I now see is
the time of message 13893 is 5:04 P.M. This is after
Yahoo! adjusted for Daylight Savings Time (which it
had not yet done in the original 13886). But we know
that much of Indiana which is in the Eastern Time Zone
does not use Daylight Time. So, still in the Eastern
Time Zone (albeit EST, not EDT) 13893 made a good try
at 04:04:04 PM, EST for parts of Indiana.
I like Jack's mention of the "Fourgone conclusion." :)
And gmane seems to be working fine. I recently used
this to see Jesper's vacation photos.
