I watched the 1951 movie version of &quot;Show Boat&quot; today.  The romantic lead <br/>
character, Magnolia Ravenal, named her daughter Kim.  The name Kim was<br/>
chosen as <br/>
an acronym for Kentucky-Illinois-Missouri, since the little girl was born on<br/>
<br/>
the Show Boat on the Mississippi River in the vicinity of the trifinium.<br/>
