I got this message from Andy Room, and I thought
it would be of interest to some of you.

Scattered on the Italian territory I have indentified some: inside Marche (region) territory there is quite a big area of Tuscany completely landlocked with 2 towns (Ca' Raffaello and Cicognaia) actually under Arezzo province jurisdiction. Another regional enclave is a small piece of Umbrian (Casa San Donata under Citta' di Castello Council) land again inside Marche. They are probably former enclaves, relics of the jigsaw of states in which Italy was once split.
