i have been contemplating making various recreational expeditions of <br/>
a multipointing nature outside las cruces<br/>
& thinking about exploratory forays also<br/>
just to probe the true shape & dimensions of my little sniffer clave<br/>
but it was actually my need for a bath yesterday that finally sent me <br/>
tentatively groping my way north toward radium springs<br/>
where i believed the only natural tub in the clave might be found<br/>
based on internet research<br/>

& in my previous snooping on snoopy<br/>
i had already found an aerial photo at terraserver that fairly <br/>
convinced me the sniffer posts on new mexico highway 185 & interstate <br/>
25 are actually situated north of radium springs<br/>
but all along the highway i kept one eye peeled on the horizon for <br/>
any unexpectedly early sign of the border post just in case<br/>
so i could pull a quitobaquito turnabout maneuver at any time<br/>

but tho i did indeed elude the dogs this way<br/>
i was myself eluded by the springs for quite some time<br/>
<br/>
for it turns out they had all been closed down long ago<br/>
<br/>
but since this was my best or only chance for a bath<br/>
i rode my try into the ground <br/>
against all odds <br/>
& yikes even strayed into the border post neighboorhood<br/>
footloose & fancy free behind enemy lines as it were<br/>
since the hot springs are also a bit north of radium springs <br/>
tho out in the desert behind the post<br/>

& i finally even broke my rule of asking directions only of pretty <br/>
girls<br/>
when a man answered from behind a locked gate & no trespassing sign<br/>
yes these are the springs<br/>

anyway i was soon in their private deluxe pool<br/>
which they cant run as a business due to red tape<br/>
but they said they do smuggle mexicans<br/>
hahahaha<br/>
really <br/>
& were soon giving me the full skinny on all the border posts etc<br/>
<br/>
these springs actually do make you feel radiant btw<br/>
sort of like homer simpson sometimes looks<br/>
<br/>
but perhaps their greatest benefit is in getting you thru the chill <br/>
of the wee hours<br/>
like a manatee in margaritaville<br/>
<br/>
& of course i should definitely come back any time<br/>
<br/>
so i will wait a few days til the next cold snap<br/>
as the owners are off to mexico again this morning anyway<br/>
& will then try to pick their pool & brains some more<br/>
to complete my manatee & clave research<br/>
& thus make the very best of both my clave sojourn & eventually my <br/>
clave escape also</div>
