<div id="ygrps-yiv-1640671542">I posted some maps in the photos section of BPt about a year ago of<br/>
the territorial trades between Germany and Switzerland in the area<br/>
west of Schaffausen, where the German exclave of Verenahof used to be<br/>
(nr. Gottmadingen township).  Realignment of the border involved money<br/>
to by a part of the land needed to straighten the border because the<br/>
land to be traded by each side didn&#39;t equate.<br/>
