Is this meant to say that the boundaries are median lines, not thalwegs?  I know<br/>
that a fluvial boundary typically implies the thalweg, but sometimes a treaty or<br/>
other delimitation specifies the median line instead.  I live eleven miles from<br/>
a USA state boundary that is the median line of a river.<br/>
