i would love to join you guys for this
but am back in the greater ctmany area now
so will most likely attend purely in spirit

& i could do that without having to be in 3 places at once
because the gbbe will be over by then

but anyway i do agree
unless you can get something better from the land office
a tripoint location 9 chains east of the witness monument is at
least as compelling as the enigmatic usgs topo position only 80
feet east of it
tho i think a comprehensively diligent try would address all 3 of
these probabilities

i bet the land office would give you what they have by phone

will you be using a 600 foot lasso for the big measurement

i think the latitude can be eyeballed pretty convincingly there

in fact i can practically see it all now
