THE POSTCARD WAS FRANKED IN 1915 IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIRST WORLD WAR. NEARLY ALL OF BELGUIM WAS OCCUPIED BY GERMANY EXCEPT AN AREA NEAR THE FRENCH BORDER NEAR THE SEA AND BAARLE WHICH IS OF COURSE SURROUNDED BY NEUTUAL NETHERLANDS. IT WAS AN IMPORTANT AREA FOR SPYING.

I WOULD DISRUPTION  AFFECTED THE POSTAL SERVICES . CAN ANYONE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION?
