Congratulations on getting at least close to where we think the
original marker at ohpawv was located. I have been there twice and
the second time gave up after seeing the continuous uninterupted
industrialization of the area.

With reference to the cancelled part of that trip, namely idmtwy
before you make too definite plans for next June consider that at
over 8000 feet in Yellowstone Park there is likely going to be a few
feet of snow yet in June depending on the winters accumulation.
Better check with the ranger at Island Park. Of course going early
would produce a better chance of testing my theory on possible
overflow from the little lake near the tripoint, but I don't really
want you to have to go in there on snowshoes.
