peter

right on
& nice work to even contemplate all these wonderfully creative possibilities

so lets keep this ball rolling

now i have been trying to understand all the nuances here
thru the several previous reports we have had of this
& once again a good translation from the german has eluded me

but perhaps you can transmit the essential facts given by this new source
or else clarify or amplify or correct my present understanding
which remains as follows

1
switzerland has advocated dividing the lake up by the equidistance principle
which would create a single tripoint at a predictable position within the lake

2
austria has advocated no division but unified trisovereignty of the entire lake
which would create 3 other tripoints at the already established positions
where the existing boundaries meet the lake triarea

3
germany is either indifferent or else has taken a specific position unknown
to me
which might agree with 1 or more of the above tripoints &or create 1 or
more additional tripoints

so we appear to have already at least 4 geopositions to visit & celebrate
as the most probable actual or eventual austria germany switzerland
tripoints

& the first mentioned of these above could also serve multiple duty to
represent the extant &or probable triarea as well
tho it also seems that any other place or places within the lake might
serve equally well for making such additional acknowledgements if any

but please do clarify further however you can
whether about the basic facts or what you think can be inferred from them
or anything further about this whole fantastic area

celebrating already whatever the outcome
