I just had the picture scanned. I have enlarged that part of the
picture with the pillar number and put it in the upper righthand
corner. The building I've been talking about is parallel to the car
park. Main access to the car park is from the German side. As far as
I could determine, the building was in use by one or more German
enterprises.

Does the orientation of the border marker (i.e. the Kerkrade-sign and
the marker are somewhat rotated in relation to eachother) mean
anything?

Would anyone have a scan from a map of this part of the border?
