Yes, this was in the opera house in Derby Line.  One of the Beatles was supposed to be a fugitive from justice in the US on a drug charge, possession of marijuana or some other major crime.  As a publicity stunt the Beatles held a meeting with three Beatles in the US and one remainign in Canada, but seated next to each other.

This reminds me of the story I heard about individual
Beatles being unwanted in either Canada or US and
consequently they had to meet in a building on the
border.  Does anybody know the whole story and
veracity of it?
