The territories that are well known: Ceuta and Melilla
The territories that are less well known (but the members of this
group of course do know these names): Peñón de Alhucemas, Chafarinas
islands, Peñón de Vélez de la Gomera.
The territories that I'm curious about: Isla de Perejíl, Isla de
Tierra, Isla de Mar.

Isla de Perejíl is a tiny rock northwest of Ceuta. But you probably
can't see it from Ceuta, as it is just around a Moroccan cape. I found
a nice article about it
(http://www.tarifaweb.com/cultura/aljaranda/num28/art1.htm), but also
a short mention in a book review, where it says that the spot was
occupied by Morocco (and Spain didn't protest about it, it is
lamented) (http://www.fgbueno.es/hem/2000r30.htm). My question: is it
still Spanish, or is it Moroccan territory now? Anyone knows anything
about this? If it is still Spanish, the boundaries in the Strait of
Gibraltar are even more complicated than I thought.

The other two islands are mentioned and can be seen on a little map at
http://www.425dxn.org/dc3mf/penon.html . This is the only place I know
of where they are mentioned. Does anyone know anything else about
these rocks?
