A passenger train waits on the Mexican end of the international rail bridge
in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, on July 24, 1999. Train 2 for Saltillo originates
in Peidras Negras. It has backed onto the bridge to clear a switch
to the passenger loading track. The consist is EMD switcher 8814
(running cab-forward) and two open-window coaches (this one being 4391).
Just beyond the rail bridge is a new four-lane highway bridge, soon to open.
