One minute later, Ferromex SW1504 8814 is pulling its train off the bridge toward a crowd of waiting passengers. Train 2 was scheduled to depart for Saltillo at 7:30 a.m. This photo was taken at 9:12 a.m. The same train was seen again, stopped on the south side of Piedras Negras, at about 10:40 a.m. The train was discontinued the following month. It had been operated by FNM, with Ferromex providing haulage under contract. As a locomotive model, SW1504's are unique to México.
