well yes
partition was then & very probably still is the majority view
in this 4 against 1 struggle
so i suppose it remains the odds on favorite to prevail

but i mentioned this quintidominium claim not just because it
belongs with our global condoscopy footnotes
but also because the iranian insistence on condominium rather
than partition strikes me as a rather serious & powerful
negotiating position here
in view of the existing treaties
& could even prove to be the ace of trumps in the event of
adjudication
notwithstanding conventional wisdom & the apparently long
odds against it
