there is a description of seven enclaves in Kyrgyzstan, albeit <br/>
slightly hazy in the detail:<br/>
Vorukh and &quot;western Qalacha&quot; are Tajik, and we know about them.<br/>
Qalacha and Sokh are Uzbek enclaves in the Sokh valley, again known <br/>
to us. Uzbek Shakhimardan is also known, and by a process of <br/>
elimination I&#39;m led to think that the &quot;part of Kalmion village&quot; <br/>
mentioned on the above site is the small Uzbek enclave NW of <br/>
Shakhimardan.<br/>

That leaves a 40ha Uzbek enclave near Tayan, south of Sokh, as <br/>
something definitely new to me.<br/>
