it look like half the river is a corridor for Fribourg<br/>
which invalidates the Bern-Vaud border that looks like<br/>
a reality in less detailed pictures.  I am attaching a<br/>
Vaud map which actually is even more confusing than<br/>
your map (I just figured out how to get rid of the<br/>
water layer which hid the border previously) along<br/>
with a topo map slightly less detailed and to the west<br/>
of yours.  In my map, the boundary continues to be a<br/>
corridor with a possible fragment of Vaud creating a<br/>
ninth coastline plus a Vaud-Bern border.  I will leave<br/>
somebody else to figure out what exactly is going on.<br/>
