ask. The attached map is from my old school atlas (Diercke), approx. 1971. <br/>
It&#39;s a combined topical map showing territorial waters and tidal waves in <br/>
the North Sea.<br/>

The legend for the yellow bands says:<br/>
&quot;Borders on the continental shelf according to the Geneva Convention of 1958&quot;.<br/>
<br/>
Questions:<br/>
- Is this depiction correct?<br/>
- Is it still effective today?<br/>
<br/>
All the other elements in the map (the red bands, blue arrows and blue <br/>
shades) are about tides and tidal waves.<br/>
