recently discussed here, I am attempting to get rid of some duplicate <br/>
entries. The names mostly come from files downloaded from the GeoNet <br/>
Names Server, which are of less than perfect accuracy.<br/>

Going by the lat-long, I&#39;ve eliminated one or two duplications and <br/>
found a number of cases of variant names which I&#39;ve decided to treat <br/>
differently (note the additional column for variant names on some of <br/>
the pages). But there&#39;s some that aren&#39;t exact, but close enough to <br/>
sow doubt in my mind. Perhaps you guys could help me with them.<br/>

In the Sweden list, there are two places name Ede in Västernorrlands <br/>
(numbers 24 & 25 on the list) that are about 2 Km apart. There was <br/>
also a railway station in that vicinity but I&#39;ve removed it from the <br/>
list. Depending on the local topography, these two locations could be <br/>
within sight of each other, so I think it&#39;s fairly safe to say that <br/>
they are probably the same place, but perhaps the compilers of the <br/>
database got the lat-longs from two different sources.<br/>

More difficult to say is places that are somewhat more distant. for <br/>
instance two of the Ede&#39;s in Jämtlands (numbers 21 & 22) are less <br/>
than 10 Km away from each other. And in the Bolivia page, the first <br/>
two Ayamaya&#39;s are only 5.5 Km apart while the third is about 15 Km <br/>
from the second. <br/>
