A 'sovereign territory' can presumably only be sovereign in the legal
sense, if it's recognised by other sovereign territories. Sealand and Hutt
River Province also claim to be sovereign territories, but unfortunately
(for them) they're recognised by no-one else. The likes of Northern Cyprus
and Palestine lie somewhere in between as they're recognised by some
countries, but not others.
