The latest edition of the UK railway journal "Branch Line News"
mentions this railway line. You can read it online here:

http://www.rinbad.demon.co.uk/latest.htm

and scroll down to article #2560. (#2561 & #2562 are also of interest
to border fans.) It would seem that the boundary of ownership between
the German and Czech railways does not coincide with any of the
actual border crossings - it's actually on German territory about
1.4km beyond Bad Brambach (travelling towards Cheb) and 800m before
the line crosses into CZ for the second time.
