I was filming out in Langley, BC today (I stepped in Giraffe poop!) and decided to come home via Zero Ave.
This time, I decided to drive as far east as I could without going all the way to the Huntingdon/Sumas crossing -- which you have to drive north then east then south to get to.

So, starting at Townline Road, the eastern starting point of Zero Ave (just south of Abbotsford Airport), this is what I saw (heading west):

At the Corner of Townline and Zero is border marker #26.

There are new bordercams installed near Ross Road (BC)
Bender Road (WA)
Benson Road (WA)
272 St. (BC)
Aldergrove Crossing (BC13/WA539)
244 St. (BC)
16th St (WA)
176th St (BC) (aka The Truck Crossing)
172nd St (BC) (The Washington park east of Peace Arch)
Some pointed E and W, some N and a couple S.
Like I said, I'm looking forward to seeing the control centre!

I also saw one Border Patrol in a pickup truck.  And come to think of it, I have never seen any Canadian authorities along the border.
I suppose that they're not worried about Americans sneaking into Canada.  Or terrorists coming from the south.
I think they should be, about the latter.

And there was a CBC Television crew doing a "live hit" from the Peace Arch crossing for a national news cast.
Something about Osama targeting Canada and other US allies.

That's my report!
