at this position<br/>

however this map is very useful both to identify the several <br/>
islands mentioned in the article <br/>
& also to then follow the courts ruling on the seaward gasc <br/>
boundary to its conclusion at the 3 mile limit<br/>
where this triply significant tripoint falls<br/>

since i wanted to keep the loading time to a minimum<br/>
the 2 most relevant islands to the judgment are not identified on <br/>
this small map swatch<br/>
but i can tell you <br/>
tybee island is the small projection near bottom center<br/>
& hilton head island is the much bigger tongue at upper right<br/>
<br/>
alternatively<br/>
jacking the map size up to medium or large will make this clear<br/>
& will also help to recognize the neighborhood<br/>
<br/>
but in any case<br/>
the final sector of the gasc line was set by the court <br/>
from the midpoint between tybee island & hilton head island<br/>
perpendicularly seaward to the limit of state waters<br/>

from these specs<br/>
i was able to get a pretty good fix on the point with ruler & square<br/>
& would place it on the western edge of federal waters quad 951 <br/>
about a third of the way up the red 3nm arc <br/>
from quad 950 to quad 907</div>
